The two-storey building of the Armenian parish trusteeship in the Art Nouveau style with elements of neo-Romanesque style was built in Ekaterinodar in 1913 according to the project of architect Nikolai Kozo-Polyansky. It was built as an apartment house on the site, which was considered a farmstead of the Assumption Armenian Church. In 1915, the third women's gymnasium Lyubov Zazhaeva was located there. It studied girls from 8 to 16 years old from peasant, philistine and noble families. Since the late 1920s - pedagogical technical school, and since the mid-1930s - secondary school No. 8. The building was badly damaged during the Great Patriotic War and was restored in 1947. Today there is a school No8 named after Hero of the Soviet Union partisan G.P. Ignatov. To preserve the old mansion, there are now repairing basements and the first floor, truss and gutter systems, changing the roof covering, restoring historical wooden doorways and stairs. Project documentation for repair and restoration work in the premises of the second floor and on the facade, which are planned to carry out the next stage, has already been developed. Before the start of the work, the designers analyzed the state of the object, conducted historical, archival and bibliographic studies, and determined restoration technologies. Krasnodar Krai is the leader in Russia in grape cultivation, wine and champagne production.
