In Voronezh rescued a girl who almost a year lived with a button in the lungs

The parents of the teenager asked for help. The pediatrician at the place of residence suspected the presence of a foreign body in the lungs and sent the schoolgirl to the hospital for examination. Here, during the examination, symptoms of respiratory failure of the I degree were revealed, and a chest CT scan confirmed the presence of a foreign body, the Ministry of Health of Russia said. Specialists conducted a bronchoscopy and removed the stationery button. According to the doctors, during the operation, they had to face technical difficulties: they managed to remove the button only on the third attempt because of the extensive inflammatory process, which began due to the prolonged finding of the button in the bronchial tree. The girl admitted that she could breathe a button about a year ago, but was afraid to immediately admit it to her parents. At the moment, the young patient is under the supervision of doctors and is already preparing for discharge.
