Issues related to the development of cultural and historical spaces, sports infrastructure, the implementation of projects in the field of housing construction and the hospitality industry in the Upper Volga municipalities were considered.

📝 Summary
On February 28, Governor Igor Rudenya held a meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on Land Relations. Issues related to the development of cultural and historical spaces, sports infrastructure, the implementation of projects in the field of housing construction and the hospitality industry in the Upper Volga municipalities were considered.
In Staritsa, it is planned to implement the first projects within the framework of the project of integrated tourist development of the city "Staritskaya Sloboda". The first pilot projects envisage the creation of a cluster "Pilgrim village" with guest houses, landscaped leisure and species areas, as well as a hotel complex on Pushkin Street with hotels and a restaurant. In general, the Staritskaya Sloboda project will include the revitalization of public historical spaces, park areas, educational centers and cultural and leisure clusters. In total, the master plan of the project will include about 15 objects. The initiator of the implementation was the Fund for the Revival of the Staritsky Holy Dormition Monastery. In Torzhka announced the introduction of a large four-star hotel complex for 95 rooms with parking. Thanks to this, new jobs will be created, more opportunities will appear for accommodation of city guests, which will increase the tourist flow to the Tver region. When discussing the issue, Igor Rudenya stressed that it is important to create conditions for a comfortable family holiday during the construction of this and other hotel complexes in the Tver region, to provide the necessary infrastructure for visitors with children: these are game rooms, arrangement of rooms taking into account the needs of young guests.
