“2025 was declared by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin as the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland – in memory of the heroism of our people, the decisive contribution to the victory over Nazism and as a symbol of the indissoluble continuity of generations.” It is a great honor for us, on behalf of the head of state, to present the anniversary medals "80 years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War" to real heroes, whom we are proud and admire. This is a generation of winners. Each of you made an invaluable contribution to the overall Victory by military and labor exploits, Igor Rudenya addressed veterans. Law enforcement officers and servicemen of the Upper Volga region were awarded a memorial sign of the Governor "For valiant service in the Tver region". Under his leadership, a unique experimental production base was created, the Tver scientific school of elite seed production was formed. Among the pupils of Alexander Alexandrovich are well-known scientists, heads of agro-industrial enterprises. Igor Rudenya also handed passports to schoolchildren who actively participate in socially significant patriotic activities. Today, the children received the main document – a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation – in the presence of real heroes, defenders of the Fatherland, who, both 80 years ago and now, protect our country, our people, our future.
