Igor Rudenya identified the tasks for the sowing campaign in the region

Opening the meeting, the head of the region introduced the appointed ministers of culture and transport of the Tver region Elena Postnova and Artem Rodnyansky. “I am sure that your work will be aimed at achieving results for solving the tasks set by the President of the Russian Federation, on the development of culture, education, patriotic work, education of youth, preservation of our traditional values,” Igor Rudenya addressed Elena Postnova. “Our work focuses on key highways and facilities. This is a chord connecting the M-9, M-10 and M-11, a project on the Western Bridge, exits from the M-11 highway, parade ground near educational institutions and the territory near health organizations. These are also weight control posts, helipads for sanitary aviation, the development of a passenger transportation system in the region, the construction of a high-speed railway, the governor set tasks for Artem Rodnyansky. Speaking about the main topic of the meeting, Igor Rudenya noted: Russian President Vladimir Putin at the meeting of the Council for Strategic Development and National Projects in December 2024 emphasized that timely financing of spring field works is of paramount importance for the confident development of the agro-industrial complex. “In the Tver region, the main attention should be paid to the provision of our farms with fuel and lubricants, seed stock, fertilizers and plant protection products. It is important to provide farmers with all the necessary support from the region for spring field work. This is the sowing of not only grains, but also vegetables, annual and perennial herbs that make up the forage base. Without crop production, livestock breeding will not develop at a sufficient pace, said Igor Rudenya. The total amount of financing for the spring campaign-2025 will amount to 2.4 billion rubles: these are state support funds, preferential short-term loans, and farmers’ own funds. Among the areas of support are financial assistance for agro-technological works, elite seed production, the production of flax-delongant, the purchase of equipment. The Governor instructed the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the region, who oversees agriculture, to take on permanent control the progress of bringing regional and federal funds for spring field work to enterprises: they are planned to be provided by the end of March. As Igor Rudenya emphasized, special attention should be paid to small farms in solving urgent issues for them during the sowing period and for the future. In particular, to support them in updating the technical base, gasification of capacities, attracting investors who are ready to participate in the development of agricultural production. The head of the region also set the tasks of putting arable land into circulation, supporting enterprises and collective farms in the development of agricultural land. The total sown area in 2025 will be 138.9 thousand hectares – 4.6 thousand hectares more than last year. Primarily, grain and leguminous crops will be sown – about 71 thousand hectares, as well as fodder, technical crops, potatoes and vegetables. Spring field work is expected to begin in several municipalities in mid-April. At the meeting, issues of provision of agricultural producers of the Upper Volga region with seeds, fuel and lubricants, preparation of equipment were considered. To solve personnel problems in the colleges of the region, special attention is paid to the training of qualified combine harvesters and tractors, especially in demand during the sowing campaign. In addition to employees of enterprises, students of specialized educational institutions are involved in spring field work - this year more than 380 trainees are planned. When discussing the topic, Igor Rudenya noted the need to introduce targeted training in vocational education in the agro-industrial complex: such a system operates in the Tver region in the preparation of future doctors and teachers.
