The highest mountain in the country... In Kabardino-Balkaria opened the Club of sports martial arts “Fatherland – Elbrus”. The event was dedicated to the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland and the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Head of the Republic Kazbek Kokov, Vice-President of the Russian Judo Federation Boris Rotenberg, beginners, as well as eminent athletes who held master classes for future champions came to Elbrus. In honor of the opening, a concert program was prepared - songs and dances performed by creative groups. The club in Kabardino-Balkaria became a representative of the Society of Martial Arts "Fatherland". For the past two decades, it has been implementing a program for the development of youth sports in the regions of Russia.
