The Head of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) Kazbek Kokov held a working meeting with the Minister of Digital Development, Communications, and Mass Media of the KBR Asker Boziev. They discussed the results of the past year and the upcoming work of the department. One of the main directions of the ministry's activities is to improve the quality of internet communication throughout the territory of the republic, including remote settlements. This is especially important for the development of education and healthcare. Last year, high-speed internet was provided to the most remote villages of the republic. Another direction of the digital department is the provision of e-government services. About one and a half million citizen requests were received at the Multifunctional Centers of the KBR last year, and continuous monitoring of the population's satisfaction with the quality of service is carried out. The system of public services and feedback will be improved. The modernization of communication infrastructure continues. A new segment of the ministry's work has become the republican mass media, which were transferred to the department's structure last year, following the example of the federal specialized ministry.
