One year in prison each. In Chrysostom, two tram drivers who became the culprits of a fatal accident will be sent to the colony.
The incident occurred in the summer of 2024. During the towing of the faulty tram, the coupling between the trains broke and the rail transport collided with another tram at a stop. He, in turn, advanced from the collision and hit a woman crossing the roadway. She died of her injuries on the spot. Zlatoust court ruled: for one year, both drivers will go to the colony, for another two they are deprived of the right to drive any type of transport. Earlier in Chelyabinsk, three freight cars derailed on the railway. There were no casualties, but the damage is considered serious.
