For these purposes, more than 359 million rubles were allocated from the regional budget. “From this year, a new category of citizens is added – South Urals, who are on home-based services in complex social service centers of the population, and they need outside help,” said Natalia Lugacheva, Minister of Social Relations of the Chelyabinsk region. Natalia Lugacheva added that this category includes 475 elderly people and disabled people who will be able to stay at home longer, in their usual conditions. The system of long-term care in the Southern Urals is being introduced from 2022. It is implemented in six cities: in Chelyabinsk, Magnitogorsk, Zlatoust, Ozersk, Kopeisk and Satka. Now the number of South Urals receiving such assistance will double to 1,046. Earlier, the website of the STRK "Southern Urals" reported that in Katav-Ivanovsk students put in order monuments to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War.
