Acting Governor of the Kursk region Alexander Khinshtein believes that new criminal cases may appear around JSC "Corporation for the Development of the Kursk region".
Earlier, the CEO of the corporation was detained on charges of abuse of office during the construction of fortifications. In an interview with TASS, Hinstein noted that he does not doubt the implementation of corruption schemes and theft of funds from the federal budget produced during the construction of defensive structures. A number of criminal cases have been initiated and investigated. The number of them, I assume, will increase, the official said. The acting governor also noted that the increase in the number of criminal cases said “at least all the facts that are revealed”. Earlier it was reported that the General Director of the Corporation for the development of the Kursk region Vladimir Lukin, as well as his deputies Igor Grabin and Snezhan Martyanova are suspected of illegally obtaining at least 805 million rubles on contracts for the construction of defensive structures.
