St. Petersburg police detained a woman on suspicion of defrauding a 13-year-old schoolgirl, whom the alleged fraudster forced to give more than seven million rubles. This was reported in the press service of the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
On March 10, the mother of the teenager appealed to the police, learning that her daughter through social networks was deceived by fraudsters. As it became known, the girl received a call from an unknown person who convinced the child that her family had problems that could put her parents in prison. A frightened schoolgirl secretly took from the house almost seven and a half million rubles and gave them to a stranger allegedly trying to help her family. A criminal case has been opened on this fact. The suspect was arrested on the evening of March 14. She was a unemployed 37-year-old resident of the Frunze district of St. Petersburg.
