The company allowed the drilling mud to leak to the surface of the earth and did not take the necessary measures to protect the fauna and flora. In addition, environmental studies of the subsoil site were not carried out, the report said. Because of this, the environmental prosecutor's office opened a case against the company on violation of the terms of the license for subsoil use. “Based on the results of its consideration, the guilty person was sentenced to an administrative fine of 150 thousand rubles,” the report said. Now geological exploration works in the reserve protection zone are not carried out.
