In the Vorkuta emergency medical hospital, the blood purification machines have been completely updated.

This acquisition was necessary as the equipment in the department needed updating. Last year, a pair of "Malakhit" machines were already delivered to the department. The machines have proven to be reliable. In the Vorkuta Emergency Hospital, 22 people with kidney diseases receive regular hemodialysis treatment. Most often, these are patients with conditions such as chronic glomerulonephritis, pyelonephritis, diabetic and hypertensive nephropathies, and polycystic kidney disease. Hemodialysis support is provided not only to residents of the Arctic region, but also to patients receiving treatment through what is known as guest dialysis. For the past two years, this department has been led by nephrologist Dr. Anastasia Musinova. Maria Ortmann has been working as a medical nurse in the department for over 25 years, along with Tatiana Bart, Nadezhda Rusakova, and junior medical nurses Irina Kuznetsova and Alfiya Shmakova. The team is stable and friendly. By the way, the department will celebrate its 32nd anniversary on October 1st. The caring hands of the department's specialists perform around 3300 hemodialysis procedures per year. Each day, 8-12 people undergo the procedure. The work is carried out in two to three shifts. The hospital administration emphasized that the department is awaiting the modernization of the water purification system. Clean water is the foundation of dialysis, ensuring safe and quality care. The Ministry of Health is actively working on updating hospital equipment, including within the framework of the national project "Longevity and Active Life," implemented by the President of Russia's directive.
