A schoolgirl from Ukhta transferred the money of her mother to scammers in the hope of getting game currency

It was found that the minor daughter of the victim found a channel on the Internet, the author of which posed as a popular blogger and allegedly gave away game currency for free. 9-year-old girl wrote to the girl in private messages, after which she received step-by-step instructions for obtaining virtual coins. In addition, the interlocutor asked to record every action in the photo and send pictures to her. Under the guidance of a swindler, the schoolgirl picked up her mother’s phone while she slept. Trusting and not realizing what is happening, the girl in the application of the bank issued a loan of 245 thousand and transferred the received funds along with the available 30 thousand rubles from personal savings. Replenishment of the balance in the game she did not receive, and the interlocutor stopped responding. Currently, criminal cases have been initiated on these facts on the grounds of crimes under Part 3 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Fraud".
