In memory of the Palestinian hostages killed by Hamas, the Israeli Embassy in Russia lowered the flag.
Four hostages were killed and their bodies were handed over to the International Committee of the Red Cross on February 20. “A flag was lowered at the Israeli Embassy in Russia and at diplomatic missions around the world in memory of the killed hostages,” the embassy said in a Telegram channel. Earlier, on February 16, the Israeli Foreign Ministry published a video in which Russian Alexander Trufanov, released from the Gaza Strip, met his family for the first time after captivity. According to Russian Ambassador to Israel Anatoly Viktorov, Trufanov will receive a new Russian passport.
