The book festival "Red Square" will be held from 2 to 6 June in Moscow Sites for events will be located throughout the space from the Historical Museum to the Church of St. Basil and in the premises of GUM - about four hundred publishing houses from all over Russia will present their best books and novelties here. The program of the festival includes meetings with writers and poets, artists and illustrators, bright and memorable performances of artists and musicians, acquaintance with the programs of the leading museums of the country, lectures of scientists, autograph sessions, concerts, master classes. Professionals of the book community will discuss topical issues of modern book publishing and book promotion, the most important events in the life of literary associations and creative unions. For the third year in a row, the Festival of National Literatures will present its program on Red Square, the main mission of which is to preserve the languages of the indigenous peoples of Russia. The festival will pay special attention to the Year of the teacher and mentor. The book forum will end traditionally with Pushkin Day. *** On June 2 and 3, the visiting studio Radio Culture will work at the festival.
