Kalmykia Song and Dance Ensemble "Tulip" performed in Moscow

Tsagan Sar - spring festival arranged in the Concert Hall of Tchaikovsky ensemble of song and dance of Kalmykia "Tulip". The Tulip Ensemble has been telling about its history, traditions, culture through dance and songs for almost ninety years. The mystery of Tsam is dedicated to Buddhist deities. Peaceful and angry, they are all meant to protect the world from destruction. When Green Tara, the goddess of love and beauty, appears, the warring gods forget about anger. Even Buddhist myths can be studied by the dances of the Tulip Ensemble. “Green Tara is the breadwinner, so the movements are like this. She expresses milk and feeds, helps people, said the soloist of the song and dance ensemble of Kalmykia "Tulpan" Maria Muchkaeva. Each dance and song is associated with the ethnic traditions of Kalmykia, which are preserved and honored in the Tulip Ensemble. One of our most famous dances is Chicherdyk, a Kalmyk folk dance. We imitate the eagle, the space, the steppe show, – said the chief choreographer of the song and dance ensemble of Kalmykia “Tulpan” Vladimir Bambarykov. In the dance you can see the flight of steppe eagles or the life of shepherds guarding a flock of sheep. Kalmyk dance is a dynamic, it is images of nature, images of Kalmyk life. The songs also talk about our life, added the director - artistic director of the Kalmykia Song and Dance Ensemble "Tulpan" Savr Kataev. Gnesinka graduate Diana Boskhondzhieva has been singing in the ensemble for ten years. Songs about ancestors, about the mother who gave life, about the beauty of a woman. There are songs dombrow - under the Kalmyk instrument dombra. They are more playful, humorous, but mostly we glorify female beauty, explained the soloist of the song and dance ensemble of Kalmykia "Tulip" Diana Boskhondzhieva. Before the concert, Diana met her friends among the audience. Her friend is also in the national costume of a married woman. The braids are tucked into a special cover - a hairpin. The patterns divide the cap – on the male and female sides. The orchestra in the Tulip ensemble plays ancient instruments. Yochin, like a ghusli. Meurn hur with a horse head and, of course, a dombra.
