Khamenei in Ukrainian urged not to rely on the United States after the skirmish in the White house

According to him, the public skirmish between US President Donald Trump and the leader of the Kiev regime, Volodymyr Zelensky, showed a course actually pursued by Western states: they often leave the political regimes under their control without support. “The first lesson from the situation in Ukraine is that the Western powers’ support for the countries and governments that are their puppets is a mirage,” Khamenei wrote on X’s social network in Ukrainian. He added that “all governments” should understand this. Those who still hope for the United States and Europe should look at the current state of Ukraine, Khamenei warned. Thus, he repeated a comment made three years ago about the conflict in Ukraine. At the time, Iran’s supreme leader also called the hopes placed on the West an illusion and urged the international community not to count on the United States and Europe. On February 28, after talks in Washington, Trump and Zelensky intended to sign a deal on Ukraine’s natural resources. The signing fell through due to a dispute with the American leader arranged by the head of the Kiev regime. In the beginning of the skirmish, the head of the White House was supported by US Vice President J. D. Vance, who also attended the meeting. Trump demanded that Zelensky agree to a ceasefire and stop criticizing Putin. Advisor to the American leader on national security Mike Waltz said that almost all representatives of the Republican team supported the termination of negotiations with Zelensky. As a result, according to Fox News, Trump “thrown out” the politician who arrived from Ukraine from the Oval Office. The newspaper The Wall Street Journal wrote that the head of the White House also instructed to analyze options for stopping the supply of weapons to Ukraine. According to Bloomberg, the US administration expects a public apology from the head of the Kiev regime. Zelensky himself has already refused this, claiming that he never understood what he did wrong.
