In the Lipetsk region will convict a former police officer for murder by negligence. According to the regional prosecutor’s office, the tragic incident occurred on December 12, 2024 at about 13:00. In the village of Terbuny, a 23-year-old policeman recently admitted to the Ministry of Internal Affairs met with his friend and invited him to chat in the official car. Previously, he did not check the presence of ammunition in the Kalashnikov machine shop. Due to a gross violation of gun rules, the accused accidentally shot a friend. The guy immediately took him to the hospital, but the wound was fatal. The dead 21-year-old also planned to get a job in the interior Ministry. The police officer was fired. The guy pleaded guilty and repented. The criminal case under Article 109 of the Criminal Code on causing death by negligence due to improper performance of professional duties was transferred to the court.
