According to the press service of the regional prosecutor’s office, from July 2023 to June 2024, the 35-year-old man deceived customers on the marketplace and in social networks. He offered advertising services in Lipetsk, but did not intend to provide them. The scammer appropriated money for the advance, but did not fulfill orders. For the year he lured 552 thousand rubles. The criminal case under parts 1 and 2 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code on fraud was investigated by the department for crimes in the field of economics of the Lipetsk MIA. It will soon be considered by the court.
