In Khabarovsk, the cause of the mass poisoning of students of school No. 68 is being investigated, a criminal case has been opened on violation of sanitary and epidemiological requirements. This was reported in the Prosecutor’s office of the region.
According to the supervisory authority, from February 17 to 23, 25 schoolchildren turned to doctors with symptoms of acute intestinal infection, hospitalization was not required. The school has already carried out disinfection, including the food unit, classes and public places. The educational process has resumed. Conducted by the Prosecutor’s office and Rospotrebnadzor inspection, established that the organization of food in the school is engaged in JSC “Food Plant”, which does not comply with sanitary and epidemiological standards. In addition, violations of sanitary and epidemiological requirements for the organization of nutrition, upbringing and education of children were revealed in the actions of the school management. The prosecutor's office made representations to the heads of the school and JSC "Food Plant", the issue of bringing them to administrative responsibility is being resolved. According to the materials of the inspection, a criminal case has already been initiated on violation of sanitary and epidemiological requirements.
