In the evening of March 6, the Moscow Department of Rospotrebnadzor from the capital’s Department of Health received a message about the hospitalization of four MSU, and then within an hour – two more students with a mild clinic of intestinal infection.

The department began an epidemiological investigation in the dining room and in the Moscow State University dormitory on Lomonosov Prospekt. In the dining room, samples of food products and biomaterial from patients and staff are taken for laboratory tests. “The dining room will be sealed,” the report said. In addition, MSU conducts a medical examination of residents in the hostel on Lomonosov Prospect.
