The court sentenced 52-year-old Murmansk citizen accused of inciting hatred or enmity using the Internet (part 1 of article 282 of the criminal code). This was reported by GTRK Murman in the regional Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia. It was established that the northerner in August 2024 published a comment in one of the social networks with signs of humiliation of the dignity of a group of people on the basis of nationality. It is noted that earlier the man was brought to administrative responsibility for committing similar actions. As part of the criminal case, the investigator questioned witnesses, conducted a search, seized material evidence and obtained the results of forensic linguistic examinations. The court sentenced the accused to one year of suspended imprisonment with the same probationary period. The court's verdict has not yet gone into effect.
