On the eve of the Defender of the Fatherland Day, three settlements of the Murmansk region will receive honorary titles. The initiative was supported by parliamentarians of the region and Governor Andrey Chibis. About this GTRK "Murman" reported in the regional headquarters. Thus, the garrison of the 27th kilometer of the Monchegorsk-Olenya railway will receive the title of "Settlement of flight valor". Pechenga and Alakurtti will be called "Populations of Military Valor." The Murmansk Regional Duma noted that soldiers from these settlements managed to establish themselves as brave warriors and true defenders of the Motherland. They are demonstrating themselves with dignity both today, at the IDF, and in the past, during the Syrian operation.
