According to Waters, “Russophobia is deeply rooted in Western politics,” and even reaching a peace agreement on the Ukrainian crisis will not be able to completely fix the situation. “I don’t think peace in Ukraine is going to make a big difference,” Waters said. Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron said during a speech to the citizens of the country that peace in Europe can return only after the “appeasement” of Russia.
