On the alley in stone and bronze are immortalized the names of the Hero of Russia Almaz Safin, who died in a special operation (his family lives in Sochi), and VGTRK war correspondent Boris Maksudov, who studied and worked in the city for a long time. The opening ceremony was attended by the family of Boris Maksudov. Boris’s widow Olga Armyakova said: he went to the SVO zone, believing that what is happening there is most important, and it is necessary to talk about it. And most importantly, tell the stories of those you meet on the front lines. “What Borya did, honestly, with dignity. And this is his legacy, said Olga Armyakova. Military correspondent of the TV channel “Russia 24” Boris Maksudov was wounded on November 22, 2023 as a result of an attack by an AFU drone in the Zaporizhzhia region. On November 23, he died. "" Maksudov repeatedly went on business trips to the SVO area. Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree awarding Boris Maksudov the Order of Courage posthumously.
