According to Kovalchuk, with the current method of production, up to 80% of energy and matter goes to the dump, that is, to pollute the environment. “Nature is very economical. Additive technologies are a clear example of how the very technological logic of development led us to create a reproduction of the nature-like principle, Kovalchuk said. He added that the creation of nature-like technologies is a key challenge of our time. When I was a student, starting my research, 90 percent of the papers were about semiconductors, and now 90 percent are about living life. And so the creation of biosimilar, biocompatible materials is another key area, he added. Earlier, Kovalchuk noted that Russia is a leader in nuclear energy.
