At the same time, Evstafiev is convinced that if conditions for freezing arise in the Ukrainian conflict, then Russia should not curtail its military programs. “Even if conditions arise for freezing and then some semblance of a long peace, it would be politically short-sighted to reduce our military potential, to stop military programs, to carry out some large-scale reduction of our security structures.” The new world will be a wild field, including around our borders and regions important for us in geoeconomic terms.
