Channel One journalists covering the course of a special military operation came under attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This is reported by the TV channel.
It is specified that the incident occurred on the territory of the DPR. "A Ukrainian drone tracked down Channel One correspondent Huseyn Huseynov in the DPR and dropped a shell on a military accompanying journalist," the report said. The Russian military, who accompanied the film crew, tried to shoot down the UAV with small arms, but one of the fighters still received shrapnel wounds from the crashed projectile. On January 4, there was also an attack on journalists in the area of the SVO. As a result of the shelling of the AFU, freelance correspondent of Izvestia Alexander Martemyanov was killed, journalists of RIA Novosti were also injured.
