The return of foreign companies to Russia is useful for our country from several points of view. Director General of the National Energy Security Fund, Professor of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation Konstantin Simonov. Yesterday, Deputy Prime Minister Novak commented on this and said that it is possible to return foreign companies to Russia, but on Russian terms and taking into account Russian interests. We need foreign companies from three perspectives. The first thing we need from them is investment, the second is technology, and the third is access to markets on our terms. This is an important component, because in the gas segment now it looks absolutely fantastic, Simonov said. Naturally, the return of companies should not be automatic – forget everything old, come back. The question is, on what terms will European companies return? There will be questions for Europeans about their actions over the past three years. This concerns the theft of assets of Russian companies, coercion to sell assets of Russian companies, the expert added.
