📝 Summary

The Russian government has decided to allow the export of gasoline to refineries and oil companies that own them from March 1 to August 31.

For non-gasoline companies, the export ban is still in place. The decision was supported by Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak – he held a meeting of the headquarters on the situation on the domestic market of petroleum products. The ban on exports is extended in order to balance the market in a period of increased demand, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers said. The meeting also considered the preparation of a draft government act to prevent gray exports of petroleum products. In addition, Novak instructed the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Agriculture to agree on the terms and volumes of fuel supplies to agricultural companies by March 1, taking into account their real needs. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has been instructed to check fuel prices for agricultural producers in various regions. Earlier it was reported that the Cabinet of Ministers allowed the export of gasoline in February only to fuel producers. The office of Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said that the restriction will be valid until February 28.
