Inspections were carried out in respect of 19 facilities for compliance with mandatory sanitary and epidemiological requirements and requirements established by the law "On Protection of Consumer Rights". Gross violations were found in some samples of dairy products, meat products, fish products and dried fruits. Among the violations found: the sale of expired products, non-compliance with the requirements for storage and sale of food products, inadequate sanitary and technical maintenance of premises, the lack of conditions for compliance with the rules of personal hygiene and data on the passage of medical examinations and professional hygienic training of personnel, as well as violations of the requirements for mandatory labeling and the lack of identification means on the goods sold. “As a result of all the measures taken, 81 batches of unsafe products with a volume of 24,388 kg were seized,” Rospotrebnadzor said. It also noted that 77 protocols on administrative offenses were drawn up. The amount of fines imposed amounted to 515.3 thousand rubles. “Currently, procedural procedures continue. <...> the activity of the Svetofor store at the address of Gusev, Lenin Avenue, 41A has been suspended for 30 days,” the ministry concluded.
