He added that this year the Unified State Exam (EGE) will take place in three periods. "There are no such radical changes in the procedure for conducting the State Final Exam (GIA) in 2025," noted Musayev. Earlier, the head of the Duma committee on social policy, Yaroslav Nilov (LDPR), proposed to gradually abolish the EGE. According to him, only the names of the Basic State Exam (OGE) and the EGE remain, as the Russian education system has changed, and the "irritating" abbreviation EGE should be changed.
