At the second stage, it is planned to remove all restrictions and allow airlines from Russia to place orders directly from the aircraft manufacturer. The priority for Russian airlines is the Boeing 737, which is used by most air carriers. In addition, there is interest in the wide-body Boeing 777, capable of flying long distances. According to SHOT, Boeing can resume the supply of spare parts for aircraft immediately after the lifting of sanctions. In return, the American aircraft manufacturer can again be given access to the Russian titanium, which the company itself refused in 2022. Earlier, the press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that the return of Western brands to Russia on a competitive basis is a normal trade practice, such competition is in the interests of consumers. For example, large car companies such as Volkswagen, Volvo and Mitsubishi will not be able to return to Russia on the same terms.
