Earlier, the head of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, said that since 2014, employees of the department have initiated more than 6.5 thousand cases against crimes of the Ukrainian military against the civilian population of Donbass. He said that most of the cases were initiated after the shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the victims of which were more than seven thousand civilians, another 20,000 people were injured.
