Since 2014, employees of the Investigative Committee have opened more than 6.5 thousand cases on crimes of the Kiev regime against the civilian population of Donbass. Most of them were after Ukrainian shelling, which killed more than seven thousand people and injured another 20,000. The head of the department said this in an interview with TASS. At the same time, the main motive for the crimes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is “political and national” hatred of the Russian-speaking population. Earlier, the head of the Investigative Committee said that more than 140 militants of the Azov National Battalion (recognized in Russia as a terrorist organization) were convicted in Russia for crimes against civilians.
