Germany should release the tax brake, that is, borrow from itself – if they go for it, the Merz government will not last for six months, the political scientist said.

The current situation in Germany could end in the collapse of another government, and this will increase the chances of opposition parties, especially the Alternative for Germany, which opposes increased defense spending and reckless migration policies. On the air of the program "Formula of meaning" on the radio "Vesti FM" said political scientist Alexander Sosnovsky. “A new round of coalition talks will take place in Berlin today, with the old and new chancellors present, as well as negotiating groups to discuss the creation of a new coalition,” he said. According to Sosnovsky, they will discuss many topics, but two topics will be the most important: increased defense spending and the migration crisis. “If the problem of migrants is unsolvable, then the problem of defense will be interesting. Germany intends to create a special defense fund, which should be from 500 billion to 1 trillion euros. And these conversations have been going on for a long time. But there are no funds. For the funds to come, Germany must release the tax brake, i.e. borrow from itself. If they do, the Merz government will not last for six months. And then he will make a gift to the opposition parties, the political scientist added.
