The Taiwan Defense Ministry announced the approach of 20 aircraft and 7 ships of the People’s Liberation Army of China (PLA).
With several of these aircraft entered the air defense zone of Taiwan. “20 PLA aircraft, 7 PLA Navy ships and 1 vessel operating around Taiwan were recorded before 6 a.m. (1:00 MSK – approx. ed.).” 11 of the 20 aircraft crossed the middle line and entered the northern and southwestern air defense zones of Taiwan, the ministry said in a statement. In February of this year, Taiwan announced the approach to the island of 5 aircraft and 6 warships of the PRC. In January, it was announced that 8 aircraft and 6 ships of China were approaching Taiwan.
