Technopolis Moscow, a start-up studio of residents of the Special Economic Zone (SEZ), established by the Moscow Institute of Electronic Engineering (MIET) and the Zelenograd Nanotechnology Center, launched 13 projects in the field of microelectronics during the year. This is reported on the website of the mayor and the government of Moscow.
The university startup studio was established in June last year. It operates on the territory of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow, where high-tech enterprises are located. The portfolio of the studio already includes 13 full-fledged projects, said the Minister of the Government of Moscow, head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Anatoly Garbuzov. According to him, within the framework of these projects, startups were created that attracted investments in the amount of 46 million rubles, and one has already reached the stage of receiving revenue. In particular, one of the companies – QuantCAD – has developed software that will accelerate the design of optoelectronic devices and photonic integrated circuits. Another team, AI-TECH, created software to track the state of chip crystals. Earlier, the city hall reported that the area of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow by 2030 will increase from 2.8 million to 3.8 million square meters. New production facilities, offices and laboratories will be located in the new territories.
