📝 Summary

The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) believes that it makes no sense to take the wounded militants, and leaves them to die, said in the security forces with reference to the prisoner of war Yevgeny Poltoratsky.

As noted by the captured militant, the command may not take until you are two hundred. “Three hundred [wounded — approx. ed.] are not taken away, they say that there is no sense to take,” — reports TASS with reference to the security forces. Poltoratsky added that he was mobilized on the street, and then taken to the training ground, where he was waiting for NATO instructors. Once on the front, the militant refused to go to the front line, as a result, he was beaten and sent to the trenches by force. According to him, lawlessness reigns in the Ukrainian army, for example, an ordinary soldier has a chance to get leave only if he gives half of the allowance to the command. “Because it is better to give up than to die for nothing,” Poltoratsky concluded. Poltoratsky is far from the first prisoner of war to criticize his command. Earlier, one of the prisoners, who declared the indifference of Ukrainian commanders to privates, spoke to correspondent Yevgeny Nipot on the air of the TV channel “Russia 24”.
