A Moscow court arrested a freshman at the Russian University of Education on suspicion of recruiting people for the Russian Volunteer Corps (RDK, the organization is recognized as a terrorist in Russia and banned).
On Friday, March 7, the Ostankino court of Moscow sent the girl into custody. This TASS reported in court. According to the Telegram channel Baza, in 2022, the girl was recruited in Turkey, where she joined the ranks of the Azov battalion and received the call sign Eva. In June 2024, the girl returned to Russia, where, according to investigators, continued to recruit in the RDK via the Internet. The student faces up to 20 years in prison for organizing the activities of a terrorist organization.
