Bezrukov is suspected of embezzlement during the construction of objects of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
The man was arrested in September 2024. According to various sources, the amount of theft during the construction of the object of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation amounted to 900 million to 2.5 billion rubles. "The railway district court of Krasnoyarsk extended the measure of restraint in the form of detention to the general director of ERSM Siberia Roman Bezrukov for 2 months - until May 3, 2025 inclusive," the report said. According to RIA Novosti, citing informed sources in law enforcement agencies, in 2020, the Defense Ministry signed a contract with a state enterprise for the construction of a communication center in the Khabarovsk Territory. In 2021, the general contractor, in turn, concluded an agreement with Bezrukov’s company: the company pledged to carry out design and survey, construction and installation work. At the same time, according to the investigation, the suspect did not plan to fulfill his obligations and together with unidentified persons withdrew more than 2.5 billion rubles through controlled bank accounts under the guise of purchasing materials.
