The department specified that to avoid collision with fraudsters will allow checking the sources of information. “Attackers parasitize on socially significant topics, write loud words, but the ultimate goal is to steal money,” the Telegram channel said. It is specified that "clickbait" appeals to such emotions as fear, curiosity, surprise, for which understatement and the creation of the effect of urgency are used. “Clickbait” techniques are used by news portals, bloggers and marketers. Earlier it became known that Telegram has a new method of fraud – attackers send malicious files under the guise of personal photos or fake notifications of the death of loved ones. To combat fraudsters who steal personal data of Russians, a temporary automatic blocking of accounts can be introduced on the portal "State Services" in case of simultaneous change of two identification parameters, such as a phone number and password.
