When buying a certificate, the specialist recommended giving preference to companies with a positive reputation and a transparent return policy, since some firms set their own restrictions that contradict the law. For example, the practice of stores to set the validity of certificates and include conditions on the inability to return money in the rules for their use has no legal significance. The lawyer stressed that the rules of return apply only to certificates purchased for money. Gift cards received as part of advertising campaigns cannot be cashed out, since there is no confirmation of prepayment.
