By about 10-12%, which is higher than expected inflation, but, unfortunately, both printing services and the cost of paper have grown significantly in recent years. Therefore, unfortunately, it is necessary to prepare for the fact that there will be a certain decrease in sales in copies, but in monetary terms we expect a market growth of about 7-8%, Novikov said. He hopes the publishing group will find interesting and in-demand projects that partially offset the decline in sales due to rising prices. The volume of sales in 2024 was a record for the book industry, said Novikov. The volume of the commercial book publishing market, excluding educational literature, amounted to about 110 billion rubles.
