The Sharansky District of Udmurtia will have its own anthem.

A new anthem will be created for the Sharkansky district of Udmurtia. This was announced by the municipality's press service. At the end of 2024, the district Council of Deputies approved the regulations for a competition for the best musical-poetic work. The anthem can be a composition that has not been published before. In addition, the inclusion of exact copies or fragments of the official anthem of Russia or other countries is not allowed in the project. Participants in the competition can submit several versions of the anthem. The work should consist of no more than three verses and three choruses with a duration of no more than 3-4 minutes. The short instrumental version should not exceed 2 minutes. Authors are required to provide the text and music. Among the requirements are a high poetic level, solemnity, adherence to rhythm, rhyme, reflection of the history of the district (village), as well as a solemn and ideologically patriotic character. The submission of compositions will be accepted until March 31, 2025 at the following address: Sharkan village, Lenin Street, 14.
