The team of Malopurginsky district of Udmurtia became the best in the Hunting Biathlon. This was reported by the press service of the head and government of the republic. The sixth stage of the competition was held on February 22. Participants had to go a distance on special skis with a width of at least 15 centimeters without sticks and shoot from hunting rifles. “Hunting biathlon is not just a sporting event, but an opportunity to show your skills, focus and understanding with nature. We gathered here people who are passionate about sports, appreciate an active lifestyle and aspire to new heights, said Acting Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of Udmurtia Roza Asnanova. In the team standings, the first place was taken by the team of the Malopurginsky district, the second by the Serginsky Society of Hunters and Fishermen of the Balezinsky district, and the third by the team from the Vavozhsky district. The leader will have a chance to represent Udmurtia at the federal stage, which will be held on March 1. Last year, athletes from the republic won a silver medal.
