📝 Summary

On the eve of March 8, women participating in the SVO met with pupils of the boarding school of the Ministry of Defense. At the meeting, the Chevalier of the Order of Courage Olga Kovtun told the TV channel "Russia 24" how she survived the shelling and alone saved the whole unit.

Guests of the boarding house conducted a tour of the educational building, showed classes and uniforms. In turn, female soldiers told the cadets about their heroic path. Chief Petty Officer Olga Kovtun survived the powerful shelling, and then single-handedly pulled a whole unit out of the rubble. On that day, the Kiev regime launched a missile attack on the location of Russian units. “We have practically been levelled to the ground. I was underground for half an hour. I wanted to live so much, I got out. God loves me very much. When the rocket fell near me, it just didn’t explode, Olga said. The woman did not try to run or hide. From the last of her strength, she cleared the rubble from under which cries for help came. She saved 30 people in half an hour. She also suffered third-degree burns. The soldiers had serious wounds, but they survived. “Imagine you have not a tourniquet, nothing. I say, ‘You’re handsome, you’re the best, just tell me you love me.’ You know, it's so nice when you pull them out and say, "Why are you, my sunshine, silent?" Talk. "Do you love me?" and he says, "Yes," Olga recalls with a smile. On the upcoming International Women’s Day of pupils, boarding school teachers and participants of the special operation, Deputy Defense Minister Viktor Goremykin congratulated the meeting in the final. He thanked the ladies for their dedication, patience and determination.
