If there are serious enough threats to the country, any journalist will always wake up a patriot. According to him, journalism corresponds to the era in which it develops. Herzen’s journalism cannot be compared with the journalism of the pre-revolutionary, post-revolutionary years. And, of course, it is impossible to compare with the journalism of the Second World War, the Great Patriotic War with the journalism of Konstantin Simonov and Ilya Ehrenburg. This is very important, because when there is a sufficiently serious threat, a civilizational threat, any journalist, if he is a normal person, will invariably wake up a patriot. Today’s media industry should create value-oriented patriotic content.
