Earlier, the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, signed a decree appointing Dmitry Bakanov as the new Director General of Roscosmos. The statement mentioned that the State Secretary and Deputy Director General of Roscosmos, Olga Vilkova, as well as the Deputy Director General for Industrial Development, Arseny Brykin, have left their positions. The new Director General had already made decisions regarding personnel changes to optimize the management team. As a result, the First Deputy Director General of Roscosmos, Andrey Yelchaninov, has taken on a new position. Additionally, by mutual agreement, the Deputy Director General for Space Systems and Science, Alexander Bloshenko, has resigned. Furthermore, changes in leadership have occurred at two enterprises in the space industry. Sergey Koblav has left his position as Director of the Central Research Institute of Machine Building (TsNIIMash) due to the end of his contract, and his deputy, Vasily Titov, has been appointed as Acting Director. The Board of Directors of Lavochkin Scientific and Production Association (NPO Lavochkin) has decided to appoint Oleg Kem's deputy as the Acting Director General in place of Dmitry Yaremenko.
